Fact sheet “Sustainable Water Management”

The main topic of this sixth fact sheet is how concrete contributes to more ecological water management.
Water is a scare resource that we must handle with care, in an integrated manner throughout the water chain. This is even truer now that climate change is leading to wetter winters, drier summers and more extreme weather phenomena. Only through an integrated approach to water management can we win this challenge.
EUPAVE already released 5 fact sheets:
- The first document looked deeper into the high albedo effect.
- The second was focused on fuel consumption,
- the third on “100% recycling”,
- the fourth on climate resilience and
- the fifth on long-service life.
